In the Woods

In the woods I walked,
And with my soul kept pace,
I neither looked sideways nor stalked.
But looked for a heart with grace.

I seek and seek.
But find none to set my emotions to peak.
All my hopes dwindle –
As my heart doesn’t kindle.

I surf through the leaves –
To lighten up my grieves.
But this grief enhances –
When nothing special chances.

I look for a charming chum.
But I am turned down as scum.
I have this love-worm,
On its spree of an eternal term.

I yearn to have someone to cuddle.
But I am showed the way to the puddle.
I’ll render this voyage.
And will view this world like a sage.

This morning will start at a different note.
I’ll pursue the nature in a rowing boat
Dew falls on leaves and condenses on greenery
Thus, I find myself in a brewery.

I carry on with my jog….
On the way covered with fog.
I am struck by a sight.
A sight of ‘cub-fight.’

Here I am gratified,
And my soul gets pacified.
I get the real eye-delight,
As it is all calm and light.

I’m running down the course
With all eternal force.
And nature opening all its doors.
With all this charm, it lures.

Meanwhile, the sun rises in the east.
It’s a real sight to feast.
Now it’s a tryst of fate.
I’m alive, but seeing heaven’s gate.

In these budding rays of the sun,
Birds chirp around and have fun.
I see the peacock dance,
And peahen throwing a passionate glance.
I’m lucky to have this chance –
To expound to you this instance.

Now I’ve discovered a vantage point.
It’s in my soul which is nature’s foremost client.
Thus, I am now a new leaf,
And have resolved all my grief.

I cherish every moment,
And life seems to me radiant.
Sorrow from my life eludes –

For its so magical in the woods.
